Academic Cooperation

Every year, we reject over 1/3 of applicants to our national conference. The reason is often simple: we simply do not have any more seats available. We feel sorry for this situation and we want to offer them opportunities.

This is exactly why, starting 2011, IMUNC organizes regional conferences and joint academic programs around China. The former ones have the same academic standard with our annual conference but provide more people with opportunities to participate, and the latter ones expand our academic influence while helping regional Model UN organizations to develop.

IMUNC academic joint programs will be organized jointly by IMUNC Organizing Committee and our regional partners, including schools, not-for-profit organizations and government institutions. To ensure our academic standard, the national staff of IMUNC designs all joint academic programs. At the same time, we closely coordinate with our regional partners to make sure the overall experience of joint academic programs meets our standard of scope and form and aligns with our principles of “academics first” and “better than best”.
